Christine Lynch named Group Chief Risk Officer at Quintet Private Bank

Quintet Private Bank, headquartered in Luxembourg and operating across Europe and the UK, has announced the appointment of Christine Lynch as the Group Chief Risk Officer. This appointment is subject to regulatory approval, and Lynch officially assumed her new role in Luxembourg on January 15. With over 25 years of international experience, Lynch most recently served as the Chief Risk Officer, Wholesale and Markets & Securities Services, and Head of Enterprise Risk, Europe, at HSBC. Her extensive background includes key roles such as Regional Chief Risk Officer for the Middle East, North Africa & Turkey and Chief Risk Officer at HSBC Private Bank Switzerland. This appointment follows the retirement of Philip Tremble, who dedicated over four decades to the banking industry.

Christine Lynch's appointment as Group Chief Risk Officer at Quintet Private Bank marks a strategic move for the institution. Lynch, with her wealth of international experience, brings a strong background in risk management from her recent position at HSBC, where she served in critical roles overseeing risk for Wholesale and Markets & Securities Services, as well as Head of Enterprise Risk for Europe. Her leadership is expected to contribute significantly to Quintet's risk management strategy and governance framework.
